It started the way most good things do — out of frustration. Our founder, after years of farming his family's land in rural Tennessee, was tired of overpaying at dealerships and getting advice from salespeople who'd never touched a steering wheel.
In 2005, he sold his first compact utility tractor out of his barn, direct to a neighbor at a fair price. Word spread. By 2007, he was shipping tractors across three states. By 2012, nationwide.

CompactUtilityTractors.com goes live. Within 60 days, the first out-of-state order ships to a cattle rancher in Kansas. The phones don't stop ringing.
100th Tractor Delivered
A milestone delivery to a family orchard in Georgia. The team celebrates with a cookout in the warehouse. The tradition continues to this day.
Nationwide Shipping Begins
Free delivery to all 48 contiguous states rolls out. The logistics team builds a delivery network that reaches even the most remote properties — driveways included.
Financing Program Launched
In partnership with a national ag lender, we introduce 0% APR financing. Over $40 million in tractors financed in the first two years alone.
5,000th Tractor Sold
Milestone order goes to a vineyard in Napa Valley. The team has now served customers in every US state. A custom CUT-55 is built to commemorate the occasion.

Third-generation farmer and lifelong tractor enthusiast. Started the company out of his barn in 2005 with a belief that buying a tractor should be simple and fair.
Grew up on a cattle operation in Oklahoma. Knows the CUT lineup inside and out, and has helped thousands of customers find the right fit for their land.
ASE-certified master mechanic with 18 years of experience on agricultural equipment. If there's a question about specs, maintenance, or attachments, Tom has the answer.
Handles everything from financing applications to post-delivery questions. Jenny is the reason our customer satisfaction scores are consistently above 98%.
